I am excited to launch my new blog!
But I am even more excited to announce an amazing benefit raffle!
As a lot of you know, on Friday October 22nd, my friend Shawna Locey lost everything in a home fire. Most of us have experienced times that you could use a friend and a helping hand, so I am sure everyone can really have empathy for her. It is hard to lose not just your clothing, furniture and those types of things .. but it is so devastating and heart wrenching to lose the personal items, the photos that cannot be replaced, special trinkets that mean more than the fine china. I really wanted to help Shawna and decided, maybe instead of donating $20 dollars I could raise much more. I went on an amazing and heartwarming adventure looking for people and business’ that would donate for a benefit raffle. The generosity has been wonderful and I am proud to know these generous souls. There are two raffles, one that is for photographers ~ professionals, beginners and hobbists. The other raffle is for those that are not really into photography, so just for fun. ~ drawing will be randomly generated for both prizes on 01/10/2011. Please take a moment and explore the wonderful business’ and people that have donated time, talent and products to help Shawna.
