We had a couple of days where the sun was shining and it almost felt warmth.. Kind of a bleh week overall for me though.. I am doing pretty good at keeping up with my 365 project, though the blogging part is not happening everyday.. Guess doing both was a little unrealistic.  Here are my day 13-14-15 and 16

Thursday Day 13 ~ Giddy Up Little Horsey

I am not sure why some days I wait until the last minute to take my shot.. but this was one of those days.  Available light under the lamp.

Friday 14/365 ~ Vintage Pull Toy

Today, I pulled down a box with some of my brother in laws old toys and found this little Fisher Price pull toy.  I so remember when they were made like this..

Saturday 15/365 Old Trapper Cabin

Today was a great day!  We went on an adventure and explored the Agricultural Museum.. If you love old and rusty {which I do} then this is a great place for an adventure.  I took so many, but was drawn to this old trapper cabin complete with antique items.  It was sort of dark looking in so I raised my ISO and lowered my shutter speed {surprised it turned out with only a little camera shake} and snapped away.  Love the whole vibe the natural light gave it..

Well I have not felt good the past few days and find myself a little behind in blogging my 365 project.. This post will catch you all up on my project and OMG.. my oh so exciting {not} life.

Sunday my hubby and I walked around the neighborhood to capture a few snow pictures and work on a blue theme on another forum.  I found a little blue Dinosaur we took him with us.  Found a cool blue tractor.. you can sort of see it in the picture.. but it was ♥ at first site for Mr. Dino….

Day 9/365

Monday was a day I could of done without.. I woke up with a sore throat and just feeling overall crummy.. I put off all day grabbing my camera.. so at the last minute decided that to best describe my Monday would be a picture of the ibuprofen and 7-up.

Day 10/365

Yesterday was the worse day for feeling sick.. Aches and pains.. I sure don’t handle it like when I was young..  That being said, I am determined not to fall behind on this project.  I found some old wooden blocks ~ you know the cool ones.  I was able to spell out PLAY and added a couple of toys.  I laid on the ground to get some nice low angle shots when I had a visitor to the frame.. I was playing with toys and he would have none of that, not without him playing along too.  I love the shots of his hands in the frame..

Day 11/365

Today ~ Whew.. what can I say about today?  I feel not 100% but better which is a good thing.  I did the drawings for the raffle.. A little sad I did not get better response, but every little bit helps and hopefully it will help Shawna get back on her feet a tad bit sooner.  It was cold today, but there was sunshine and a fresh blanket of snow, so outside to grab a few shots.. I decided on this shot of this bleak looking plant.. I love that even though it is winter and cold, and sad looking when you look around this shot seems to scream spring to me.. so I titled it “Dreaming of Spring”

Friday was a wonderful day.. We spent most of the day preparing an awesome meal for 15 peeps (just a small family gathering).  We decided on homemade Chow Mein and Fried Rice ~ then threw in some homemade BBQ pork and for the first time made homemade egg rolls.  Several hours of prep in exchange for 45 minutes of yummy goodness!

Day 7/365

On Saturday the lovely Tarah and JD, were suppose to go on an adventure with me for an engagement session, but their adorable little girl was sick.  {sad face}  So with that I ended up having the day to myself and took the opportunity to edit some personal pictures.. Sometime I forget about my personal pictures, and I am trying to get better at that.  Later I grabbed a wire basket full of pine cones to snap a few shots for the 365.. Little Jacob had other ideas on what should happen with that basket full of pine cones ~ he had so much fun!

Good Evening everyone.. I hope your Day before Friday is kick starting your Friday right.  I learned today that I admire pet photographers so much.. I attempted for a long time to take some pictures of my sisters little dog.. It just did not happen very well.  I snapped a few shots of my nephew, chilling with some cartoons and a graham cracker.. and I took a few reflection shots using my sisters little trinkets in her home.  I have selected one of the reflection shots as my day 6 photo.. but you can always visit my fanpage or flickr to see more photos.. CUPCAKES!

I cannot remember the last time I made cupcakes.  Gina Rae Miller Photography shared a recipe on facebook this week.. I just had to try it.  Hot Chocolate cupcakes, Yummy.  I made half the batch with the marshmallows, and the other half I made homemade cream cheese frosting and then sprinkled with hot cocoa mix.

I wanted to show more than just one shot, so todays 365 shot is a collage.  Enjoy and you can get the recipe from Gina’s blog linked above.

Yesterday was a great day.. It started off a little slow ~ In the Yakima Valley it is very cold, so photo adventures can be a bit challenging due to just the fact I do not like to be cold.  The worse part is Yakima right now is in sort of a in-between look.. What snow that is left on the ground, is hard and dirty.. Where there is no snow it is just brown.  Very cold and sad looking, very hard to find inspiration sometimes under those conditions.  We drove around scoping out a few location possibilities, stopped to take a few pictures.. then headed into town.  We stopped by “The A Street Mini Mall” and explored a bit.  We chatted with Dana and Rebecca, and they were so gracious.  They allowed us to find inspiration in the wonderful amazing bits of history scattered throughout the store.  Please if you are in or visiting Yakima, WA ~ stop in and say hello.  You can also find them on facebook here “A Street Mini Mall on Facebook”.  I have so many cool pictures it was hard to narrow it down. Here are is the first shot ~ Day 4/365 ~ I love all the little piles of trinkets.. They are fun to sort through, looking for a true treasure.

The next shot has been processed using a new texture from the soon to be released Love and Romance collection.  Now off to make some cupcakes ~ pictures for day 5 later!
